Captain Palette arts hub & gallery – GREAT THURSDAY! 

After an amazing launch party we are back on April 17th at General Store & Co for a good Friday Eve party that we like to call “GREAT THURSDAY! ”

This week Captain Palette will feature:

Upstairs in the back is the all new CAPTAIN PALETTE GALLERY!
Featuring:

The Psychedelic Art of Roger Anthony Essig .

Urban Melbourne on canvas and prints by Joey Judd

Moments in Time travel by Peter Piro Weber

Plus more surprise art by our special secret guests

 
Upstairs in the front will feature an all-live, all-improvised, 3-hour audio/visual experience from CLOUDS ABOVE CHAOS. There will be projectors, lasers, smoke and mirrors, celestial strings, the music of the spheres, live mulched audio from around the venue fed into, out of, back into and then out of soundcards, mixers, effect pedals and filling the room with light sound and Clouds.

 
Downstairs will feature an eclectic mix of music by Local and International guest DJs:

Plus Drink Specials:

$5 basic spirits from 7-8pm

Captain Palette arts hub & gallery – EVERY THURSDAY! 

Captain Palette at General Store & Co is a new Thursday night which aims to provide a place for creative types to meet, mingle, network, collaborate, perform and seek advice from like minded people.

The aim is to be an ‘arts hub’ where up and comers have an outlet to showcase their work, whether it is a painting, sculpture, illustration, live performance or anything else with a creative lean. Each week will see artists get the chance to perform & showcase their art at the venue.

The all new Captain Palette Gallery will feature a mix of artists on rotation with different work on display each week. The focus of the Gallery is to display work by undiscovered and underground local Melbourne artists. Artists will be in attendance at the Gallery with most works on sale giving the public a chance to meet the creators and buy their work in person. Entry to the Gallery is Free.

FREE ENTRY – EVERY THURSDAY!
